Anurag Basu's latest venture Barfi starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana in the leads, has registered superb opening at the Box Office in India. The movie has raked Rs 34.15 crores net at the domestic collection centers in the first weekend. the film has beaten the record of Ranbeer's previous flicks Rockstar, which had collected Rs 33 crores nett in its opening weekend.
Barfi, which released on 1300 screens in multiplexes and 300 single screens, opened to an overwhelming response in multiplexes across the country with its occupancy ranging between 85% and 100%.
